ALERT: Hot Toys Batman Tumbler
This most likely will have a significant effect on collectors who want to obtain a Hot Toys Batman Tumbler in 1/6 scale.

Two months ago a few individuals began buying up the Hot Toys 1/6
Batman Tumblers remaining in the market for 450-600.oo.

Result: Two months later most of these Tumblers are now being offered
for sale on Amazon and other sites for a median price including
shipping for around 1200.oo. That is double the price from two months
earlier. The other 50% of these Tumblers range in price from 1249.oo +
shipping to a high of 1955.oo. This same pattern happened in the past
with the first generation release of the Hot Toys Batman Tumbler. The
average selling price went above 3000.oo with some offered for as much
as 5000.oo. At that point Hot Toys produced a second release of black
1/6 Batman Tumblers and an additional run of camouflaged 1/6 Batman
Tumblers.  These releases sold for 499.99 each.

If the current trend continues and the market for Hot Toys Batman
Tumblers continues to move at these price increases we will be seeing
additional released production runs of the Hot Toys 1/6 Batman
Tumbler. Further research in this shows that those in the market for a Hot Toys 1/6
Batman Tumbler are currently not buying them for much more than 850.oo.

HOW ABOUT ADDING THIS TO YOU COLLECTION
From Super Fan Builds
"With so many young fans, it was only a matter of time until somebody tried to make a baby stroller out of the iconic Tumbler. A Hollywood special effects shop took it upon itself to make this dream come true.

What kid is worthy of having the only Tumbler baby stroller in the world? One that at 18 months of age spoke his first words: "na na na na na… Batman!" How cute is that?

The Tumbler has a very complicated and futuristic shape that borrower from the world of stealth aeronautics. A steel frame first had to be built, upon which black PVC frames are added to create the final look.

It took a whole team of fabricators the best part of 7 days to build, sand, paint and put the finishing touches on the Tumbler stroller. We think it looks so good it belongs in the Batman museum, but the crime-fighting baby carrier will probably spend its days in the park. Check it out and tell us what you think."

Most Valuable Mattel 6 Inch Batman Figure: 2004 Bat Signal Batman and
Attack Armor Batman, released only in Europe and Australia in 2004

Since Mattel first got the Batman license in 2002, they’ve gone
through a many modifications of their comic-based DC figures: Batman,
DC Super Heroes, and then DC Universe Classics. The early Batman
figures had standard cut-joint articulation, while DC Super Heroes
introduced a number of ball joints and an innovative “H-hinge” hip
joint. The bridge between these two lines were two excellent figures.

Bat Signal Batman came with a light-up Bat Signal, and this sculpt
(without the Signal) would eventually be released in the United States
as a Toys R Us exclusive with a distinctive light blue/dark blue color
scheme. Batman since has had quite this same color scheme or look,
making him one of the most valuable Mattel Batman figures made so far.
One just sold in May-2017 without the signal for 235.oo.

It has been estimated that NEW with the signal in the original
packaging would sell between 1,000.oo - 3000.oo.

Top 3 Batmobiles: The Best of the Batmobiles
Visual Iconic Pop Culture in Art and Media
James Romeo
January 25, 2016
Could also be titled the top three most collectible Batmobiles.

“What was the best Batmobile to ever appear in visual media?
Everyone has their own likes and dislikes about movies and comics,
such is the nature of any media or art form. Warning: Opinions will
vary from individual to individual.

#3 – 2005 Tumbler (The Dark Knight Trilogy)
The core concept of the entire Nolan series of films was built on one
question: What if Batman was actually real? He would actually need a
car that actually could get the job done.
The Tumbler takes the concept and creatively elaborates the idea of
the Batmobile being an all-terrain vehicle. It smashes through
everything and uses its weight and momentum to go from place to place.
This is the most “realistic” interpretation of the Batmobile to ever
be shown on a movie screen.

#2 – 1966 Batmobile (Batman the Movie/Series)
Everything in the 1960s was about style, colorful and cool. It was a
colorful, lighthearted Batmobile for a lighthearted time in the
character’s history. It resurrected Batman from the black and white
serials. The television show borrowed elements from the 1950s comics
of Batman. The 1966 Batmobile also marked the first occasion audiences
saw the afterburner that propelled the Batmobile in live action,
something that was a part of the comics. This Batmobile was versatile
and useful with its endless array of functions and gadgets combined
with a very unique and bright sense of style. The word iconic it often
found in the company of its description.

#1 – 1989 Batmobile (Batman 1989)
Many believe this to be the best adaptation of the Batmobile in live
action. Michael Keaton’s version from Tim Burton’s film in 1989 is the
one that most people think of when they think of a dark, brooding, and
stylish version of the Batmobile. Enforcing a sense of seriousness,
style, and implied power is what makes this work so well. What you
have is something that is sleek looking and bold with its presence
each time you see the Batmobile appear on screen. It has thick armor,
machine guns, a jet turbine engine, sleek body, and much more, that
give it an intimidating and serious presence each time you see it. It
is the polar opposite interpretation of the 1966 Batmobile, which only
helped to reinforce the idea of Tim Burton’s film being a completely
new take on the dark knight at the time.”

Looked at fifty or so, top ten, top five, and top three ranking sites,
blogs, and postings, ranking the Batmobiles for variable combinations
that included some of the following qualities: screen presentation,
originality, beauty, iconic, gaudiness, design, technology, style,
realism, boldness, intimidation, seriousness, darkness, power,
practicality, and usefulness to Batman. Ninety percent ranked the 1989
as the number one best overall Batmobile, the 1966 as the number two
and most recognizable, and the Tumbler as the number three and most
realistic. Personally, I find something to like in all the Batmobile variations. vertigo

This painting is a good example of abstraction and realism meeting near their theoretical boundaries.
