Send me a personal message if you have stuff I can use on my Tumbler replica's interior to make look 100% movie correct. Will pay cash.
Regards,

Don't worry Haven't stopped working on this yet. Life has a way of picking projects for you, you don't always get to choose which ones come first. The Third revision of the Key Fob is being printed. It can take up to 4 weeks to get the Key FOB back from the printers. Again this is a prototype so once done it has to be checked for issues and if mistakes are made they have to be fixed. I will update the thread when I have more pics / progress. In the mean time I have been working on constructing work benches for my garage to help improve my welding and fabrication skills. I'm also working on tracking down some Large I beams to use as a base to weld the frame to so it will prevent the chassis from warping (heat does nasty things to steal if it isn't locked in place)

Oh and for something batman "related"... This would be a work bench for the mechanic that works on the batmobile...

Nice... the problem I'd have with a table like that is, I'd put all my shit on top of it so wouldnt be able to get to the tools. But that's just me.

LOL...Already thought about that. The bench holds stuff you don't use to often and it encourages you to keep the bench top clean (so far its working). It also has another bench that goes on the other side of it (combining both benches makes it into a table of sorts) so if you needed to, you could set whatever is on top on the other side and get to what you need. As a bonus effect it does provide a level of security. You can't steal what you can't see...

Hey Stevo, I love your work on the FOB but I would be much more interested in buying a dashboard display for my Tumbler like the one in the movie. vertigo

Hey Stevo, I'm with spidey4fun. I'd have to at least hinge the top in two pieces. I'd always be needing a tool that was inside the storage area while I had my project scattered around on the bench top. I know this would drive me crazy pretty quick. With your bench setup I'd have to buy some of the rolling metal tool drawer units and insert them under the bench tops. You would probably need to remove the wheels, maybe add a little under the bench legs to get them to fit. Thats, my idea of a useable bench. That's just me. vertigo

Ah.... hiding tools... great idea. My little man is 5 yrs old... he's a master tool thief. He's always adjusting bolts on his bikes and trikes that I cant see. Must be the invisible to adult type bolts. Then the tools are just left to make their own way back to my workshop.
