Hi Vertigo great to see the progress and the care and attention your putting into your build. The bottles used for the movie car were ba or scuba diving air bottles i think. We use them in the fire service. The old bottles were 200 bar and a steel bottle. The new bottles are 300 bar and a carbon fibre alloy construction. Are you going for a movie accurate car or a mix of movie and your own ?

Totally movie accurate has too many inferior limitations to me so:
A lot of exterior movie, to point of being full size but also with some pieces that can come off so that they can be replaced with alternate pieces to bring the width down below 8"-6" so that it can be street legal at will. All the tires are DOT street legal. Most of the mechanics are way over the strength compared to the movie car and the body will be made from 1/4" and 3/16" steel. Also planning for blended gullwing doors and many other little details like built in towing hookups, etc., etc., etc..... vertigo

Decided to cut the rear panels and main chassis mounts lower tension plate from 1/4" steel plate. Did not have time to clean up the plate with a grinder but couldn't resist clamping them in place. Quite an impressive sight if I do say so. vertigo

Been looking for information on the movie Tumbler afterburner simulator and at other Batmobile afterburner simulators.
Would greatly appreciate any information, input, or comments about Bat Vehicle afterburner simulators.
