Hi all, first post here.
I'm thinking about building a tumbler pedal car. Roughly a 1/7 to 1/5 scale version. I've lurked lots of other build threads, but the biggest issue I'm having right now is the tires. IMO one of the most distinctive visual traits of the tumbler is the appearance of the front and rear tires. I think the plans for the framing and panels is all flexible during construction but I can't make tires.
I've done some measurements on the schematics, and on the sketchup document I have, and the Front tires seem to have a width/height ratio of about .7 Trying to find this ratio in a tire has proven to be rather difficult. I was wondering if any of you forum veterans with more kart experience would know a good source to find a tire that's roughly 8" tall and 5.6" wide or so.

I doubt a 1:7 scale version will be big enough, I'd stick to the 1:5 and upwards
