Hi guys,

I wanted to start a little thread showing the 3D work in progress of my B&R Batmobile.

I'm having so much fun building the Arkham car that I wanted to do another Batmobile in the same scale. As much as I like all of the movie cars(Forever being my least favourite) I thought that the B&R car never seems to get much love. Also, as a modeller, I thought the car presented me with plenty of challenges to try and overcome.

I've been modelling it over the past few days here and there and have something I think is worthy of showing now. There's still a lot to be done but I hope you like it, and I'll update as I go.

The idea is that I'll be building this in much the same way that I'm approaching the Arkham build, but I won't get to that stage until the Arkham 'mobile is finished.

Thanks for looking.

Very cool!

If you have any time after the B&R it would be great if you could possibly give shaggy a hand on the 3D model of the 89 side mechanics. I would love to give them a try in Pepakura

I agree about there not being much love for this car.
Didn't someone do a post about this car on same topic last year?

EDIT: Found it. It was actually earlier this year.

I like the last part. "Just keep the lights off." I think it's an amazing car personally. Not the best, but not the worst either IMHO.

Looks good but the car looks short. Which version are you using for reference? The movie or the short Six Flags version?

I think that's more a case of perspective on the render?

Here's a top view.
