DANW----> <----UNHOLY
I was wonderin if it's a 2 part black paint satin finish with some kind of catalyst ,Hot rod black , is it just shiny in the photo? ect... Tremclad / rustoleum cut with 50 % mineral oil and put on with a foam roller..
thats why I ask questions...information, "If knowledge is power then I am a GOD" 2 points for who said that in what crappy Batman movie with Jim Carrey as the Riddler.. oh wait did I give the answer away.
Thanks Akajunk....
screw you DanW

Unholy... Thanks for the comments... I hate to give away a "Trade Secret" OK, who I'm I kidding there are no secrets... The paint is PPG industrial flat black and would you believe it looks just as good in person as it does in pictures. We tried many ideas and a lot of trial and error - the secret is out. So far, its held out very good to high temps coming from the rear of the car

Thank you sir.
Although it will be awhile before I get to that point I'm better off knowing that not knowing when I get to my trial and error stage..
Thanks again.

333 HALF EVIL I hate it when someone talks about my "thingies"... I'm old and my "thingies" hang a little low and get in the way sometimes... So my wife keeps them on a shelf and lets me have them for "special occasions"... I guess having the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders on the car did not count as a special occasion in my wifes eyes So, I did not get my "thingies" out for that weekend... However, keep an eye out, I WILL have my "thingies" out one day
