A friend of mine invited me to go with his family to Chicago on vacation this week to get away, have a few laughs and see the sites. Well there was only one thing I was interested in: seeing the filming locations of Batman Begins & The Dark Knight

Chicago Board of Trade Building, better known to batfans as the first Wayne Tower
Batmobile

This is where he did his little turn on the wall deal with the pod
Batmobile

The courthouse from Begins
Batmobile

Not too sure about this one, but according to IMDB this is where the wreck with the Lamborghini took place
Batmobile

Several chase scenes happened here
Batmobile

Richard J. Daley Center, the new Wayne Tower in TDK
Batmobile

Trump Tower, under construction during filming of TDK where the final clash b/t Joker and Batman took place
Batmobile

Not sure about this one either, but I believe somewhere in this area is where Dent confronted Marone
Batmobile

This is where the obstruction in the road was where they had to "divert down to Lower 5th" (Lower Wacker)
Batmobile

This is where the cancelled opera was briefly shown
Batmobile

Board of Trade again. This was a busy place for the films. The climax of the first film as well as the funeral and truck flipping scenes in TDK were filmed here
Batmobile

I couldn't go in this one b/c it was closed. Appropriately picked out for its name "Twin Anchors" is where Two-Face confronted Wertz. In the film if you look closely in the background you can see the two anchors on the window
Batmobile

Recognize this? It's where Gordon came to arrest the crimelords. Great restaurant called "The Berghoff". Damn good food too
Batmobile

This was another inaccessible: the old post office building was redressed as the bank where the opening heist took place
Batmobile

"That's why we bring dogs!" This was the hardest to find, but you'll recognize it as the parking deck from both films
Batmobile

Batmobile

Batmobile

Hotel 71, Wayne's penthouse apartment was locked from the public
Batmobile

This is along the route the Batpod took through Millenium Station
Batmobile

And a bonus:

This is where the fight between Doc Ock & Spider-man was filmed
Batmobile

And anyone else think this logo look familiar?

Hey Justin, can you give us a hint? Or do I have to go back and watch Begins or TDK. Those are some awesome pics! I couldn't understand way they filmed in Chicago instead of Gotham city, N.Y.

I agree with Max, OCP (Opressive Capitalist Pigs from the third Robocop movie)

“It’s not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me”

You got it Max. That's the board of trade logo, which looks suspiciously like OCP. Not too sure if I'd wanna do business there haha

Now that is some travellin you made there! Thanks for sharing! I really enjoy the shots and appreciates so much that they uses a real city rather than some fake fantasy land like in the older movies. Remember Batman & Robin? Ugh!
