Hi Shaggy, I noticed a detail missing in your model. It is one angle/edge at the front of the Tumbler. I have posted a picture of the tumbler to show you what I am talking about. The area highlighted in green is in your 3D model, however the area in red is not. You'll also notice from the photo, that there is another angle on the lower piece that is missing from your model. It is the line from near the bottom left corner of the green going up to the upper panel. These observations are from the 3D model pictures you have posted previously in this thread. I'm not sure if you have made changes since. But I just thought I would give you feedback incase this is something you would like to correct. Cheers. Tim

Hey Tim, yeah i did notice, actually months ago, but i had sent the model out to so many who requested it by then, i didnt care to fix it. Honestly the 3d model is meant to be a guide, not so much as exactly accurate, but just a refference for fitting the templates when assembling them. But with that said, i also left out that flange and angled part off the templates too . Thanks for checking it out tho!

Another thing most people may or may not notice is that the upper intakes are actually to short, they are suppose to be wider than what they are. The one's on Youngbats build are correct to the original, mine came up short. Ah well.

Shag, SIMPLY PUT AWESOME!!! I love the Mock up. Again great idea using your 3D design as a pattern. I had mentioned to another Tumbler builder a long time ago that with just a few measurement you could create a pattern. You proved it and now anyone can build their own. Great job!!!

Thanks Jack! I wanted to untarp it yesterday when i got home and put a coat of paint on it before it gets too late. But as luck would have it, i got home by 5, and by then it was already starting to get dark, and to top things off, we have had a series of REALLY strong storms coming thru our way. All I can think is im gonna wake up one morning to a ripped up Tjr in my neighbors yard. ....But i've got a plan, i'll just tell them the Joker did it!.... I think im gonna have to take tomorrow off work to take my son to a few doctor's apointments, maybe inbetween those i can find some time to lay a coat down on the Tumbler. Lets hope! I hope this rain goes away REAL soon, cardboard doesnt like it!

OH and Tim, another thing that i left out on my templates is, there is a bend on that front flap, to the left of the coil springs in that picture, that is running parallel with the shocks. That bend is not on my templates either. Basically put, there are ALOT of mistakes in my templates. . But they are meant mearely as a guide, so eh. Better than trying to build it blind

this is another error in my templates, the reason i point this one out to you all is bc im debating about fixing it on Eric's T-jr. The passenger side of the nose is correct, as you can see it has a large panel behind the tire, the driver side is how my templates depict the nose panels, simple, but not correct. Since i dont feel like printing new templates to fix this error, it will be a free-hand fix, and that is the only thing that is keeping me from jumping on fixing it.... ....you all remember how great i was with free handing when i joined this site...

LOL.. it shouldn't need a fix in the model, since it will be the exact same panel just flipped..

Hi Shaggy, Any update on the 1/2 scale? I know you have been busy with those bat pod 3D models. I picked up some more supplies today and will be back out in the garage tomorrow morning working on my cabin. Tim
