Wayne... How were you gonna cut it up? When I had the molds at my disposal, I considered widening the part out and lifting it a bit, then cutting and hinging the back so my car would roll under it, then I could hop out, close the canopy and push it inside. Then lock the back and use the cocoon as a spare garage for my car.

Did you have similar thoughts?

Hey guys, I got an invite to share my build info on another bat site. While I did consider it all day today...

while I was "making tracks" to get us ready for the paint shop.

I've decided that CLTC is my Batmobile "home", I've been here "annonymously" since the first day of the site, when DH came to me looking for pics for this crazy idea he had about making a site dedicated to the 89, and even though I'm working on a few 66's at the moment...

my "heart" will always be with the 89, and CLTC will always be the place I share my stories.

So here's just another example of their FINE business practices. I've also heard from bidders that they're contacting them with the same "THESE ARE ALL WRONG!!! DON'T BUY THEM!!! MARK TOWLEE MAKES THE BEST WHEEL BATS! GO TO WWW.GOTHAMGarbage.NET!!!" BS that Kory has always pulled in the past.

By the way... Don and I discussed on the phone that even WE'D go on Gotham Garbage and say nice things about Mark if he paid us TOO. Have a good weekend guys!

It is... I've had a website since before Mark Towlie was getting fired by Bob Butts for being such a drunken screw up. (So Bob told me one day) But let us not clog up my eBay email with this stupid chat shall we Kory? (or Scott or whatever you're calling yourself these days) I've actually BEEN in the same room when my client puts you on speaker phone and we both make obscene hand gestures about all the BS that you're spilling while attempting to peddle you're crap cars. The clients you are calling have each purchased at least A DOZEN cars from me. The current Batmobile project is his and he purchased it from me AFTER you're little phone call. THAT should say a lot about their confidence in Mark. But... in all fairness, if Mark would like to call me too (you both have my number because Mark called me back when I was building cars at the 06 Indy 500 to cry about my getting Justin to leave you alone)

and if he wants to ship me some free parts FIRST!!! I'll go on Gotham Garbage and say nice stuff about him TOO.

We'll guys. That about says it all. I've kept relatively quiet (OK... I AM using this thread as a build log to keep it at the top of the list) about all the info I have on these idiots because they've left me alone since we called a "truce" in 06.

Yes, Geek called me to cry that Justin (our Justin. Way to go dude!) was causing all kinds of damage to Mark's "spotless reputation" and they couldn't get him to stop. I told Geek to "PISS OFF" because he's called my clients directly and told them to get a refund on their projects because "I'll never deliver" or "it will be total crap when you get it."

I've even been in the office's of these clients while Geek is on the phone. (and BELIEVE ME we DO make obscene hand gestures while Geek is talking and we crack ourselves up.

So then Towlie calls me and says that I have to get Justin to "back off". I tell him that while he has talent as a builder, aligning himself with Geek is a stupid thing to do. Turns out Geek gets a commission on every job he brings in and that commission goes to a fund for Towlie building Geek a car. Geek doesn't have a Batmobile of any kind at this point, and he's been working for Towlie for several years now.

Anyway. I tell Towlie that I'm going to ENCOURAGE Justin to be as vocal as possible until Geek backs off my clients. Towlie says "Hey, it's just BUSINESS"

So I say that what Justin is doing on the boards is "just business too".

In the end, we agree that Justin would back off and not mention them until Geek screws up.

As you all are probably aware, that lasted all of TWO MONTHS before Geek was back out running his mouth off.

But for the most part, they've left ME alone till now.

So as we all know... PAYBACK IS A BITCH!

So here goes.

The above statement about Towlie is true, "Now-Silent Bob" told me he fired him because "... he was always coming in drunk and screwed up too much of my sh#$!" (Run that through your head in Bob's gravelly country voice)

My sharp friend in San Francisco with the 89 on the Vette chassis (another one of the 89's I've heard that I never made) was down for Jay's induction to the hall of fame (thanks for the DVD Jack, I'm sorry that I missed it) and he told me that they stopped by Towlie's shop and home and found BOTH deserted. They claim that Towlie has 12 warrants for fraud and 5 prior convictions. They also claim that Geek hasn't had a job in 8 years and 100% of his funding comes from pitching cars for Towlie.

Now, if this is true and 100% of his "paycheck" goes to his Batmobile (which STILL hasn't been given to him.) then Geek doesn't have a dime to his name. (Also what's been told to me by the San Fran boys) So you can see his desparation in trying to sell cars. Makes sense to me.

In any case... you can see that...

Mark Towle AND Kory Geik are STILL UP TO THEIR OLD TRICKS!!!
