Hey, guys. Here's a picture of the new <solar> electric gate we had installed in my driveway. My wife and I are just getting around to spending last year's income tax return.
We live at the end of a cul-de-sac on top of a hill. Our driveway is about 100 feet long. Some of the teenagers in my neighborhood like to run through my yard and jump over my fence to get to the adjacent neighborhood. Not anymore...
I also bought some of this ultra-sticky goop called "Tanglefoot" and spread it on top of my fence. Now, if they try to climb over, they're going to get glued to the top of the fence... "Mwahahahahaha!"Also, a couple of years ago, I spent 28 days underneath my house excavating a "batcave" (no kidding). I poured about 5000 lb. of concrete (mixed by hand in a 5 gal. bucket) for a floor and reinforcement. I was able to add a 4' x 20' underground wine cellar and about 200 extra square feet of storage down there. It even has a bat insignia on the door to get in. I wanted to figure out a way to use a grandfather clock as a door, but the logistics were just too ridiculous!
