Hello everyone, Thank you so much for the kind words. I am very impressed to see my canopy finally working. It has been a very long process as you all know, but I know that the car is a solid build. I want you guys to know, that I really appreciate the support and friendship Thanks Dan

Nate - yes I am a poser. But SOON I will be a poser with two Batmobiles and a Bat Cycle..... Doug Hines is working on glassing in the floor board AND firewall into his '66 kits, so mine will probably be one of the first out of the molds with that modification. Then I can spend three years building it, get my own build log, and take lots of pics of me sitting in it pretending to drive.
As for how Mr. X did the canopy........... I am going to try and encourage him to register and post occasionally here. He already lurks, but I want him to actually chime in occasionally. For those of you who do not remember, he has built several Batmobiles INCLUDING the Carmel car. I think he has alot of good information to share.
At this time, I do not think he wants me to post the pics of how it works. But I will talk to him.
