Very cool.. Any chance there was a hot air valve attached to those name plates?
Could you perhaps take a measurement of them? I might try and get some replicas made up for everyone with my engraving guy like I did the dash panels.

| I wish there was but this was attached to A valve that looked nothing like what we have come to call side mechanics so I paid the guy to just sell me the name plates. Ya I was hoping some one could duplicate these in metal engraving for all . small one is 3/4 wide by 1in.3/8 long for the bigger one. it is 26/32 wide by 1 in. 9/16 long.

Post up the width x height for both of them and I'll make some PDF files that you can take to an engraver or get some from my guy up here.

Sorry it's been taking so long.. but here is the first draft of the larger plate that I did this morning. I've been trying to find the right fonts but its been tricky..
The "black" in the below picture is what would be engraved from a metal plate that is surfaced with black paint to reveal the metal under it.
