I'm wrong all the time! I once looked out at Catalina Island from Huntington Beach and exclaimed "Hey! I never knew you could see Hawaii from the shore!"
I am still living that one down with all my friends and family....

| hehehe that's good stuff. Yeah I'll be the first to admit I have made a ton of mistakes. Heck, I'll still making them. Just this past weekend I was adding metal to the canopy and epoxied in a piece in the wrong place. Thank God it hadn't dried or that I had not added the fiberglass yet. Speak of which Kevin how did you re-enforce your canopy? Did you add metal or just thicken it up where needed? So what about it are you going to share with CLTC or just be made at me? You sould know I'm just giving you crap, heck you are the one who taught me how to give crap to other (you know who).

i just wanted to say ..i dont know how the no. 1 car was done except from studying pictures .....and i wish there was a way people could actuly hear my voice and know that none of the stuff i type is meant in a know it all way.....so ...with that said i do think the pic's from japan show there is no rail under the hood and the slit is not that deep.....and the reason it looks thick there is thats a lip to match the fire wall lip ...and i think kevin window is like the no.1 ..and anyway it dont matter how they do it in england .......i will build my batmobile to suit me ....and i dont mind sharing my build and i like new ideas so i love disscusions...they make the time fly...(steps down off of justins soap box)

Rusty - I don't know how many people will agree with me, and maybe some photos would prove me wrong, but I do not think the Japan car is the actual #1 Batmobile. Paul has provided plenty of backstory and evidence to show that it is not, at least enough to prove he is credible....
Don't know if you think it is or not, just throwing that out there!

I certainly won't rule that out (the Rooster thing, either!) but some of the pics of that car have both Jay AND Nye Ohrberg (sp?) in them... Why would they be there with the #1 in Japan, apparently delivering it?
