I can't believe Kevin got his guns 3 years ago, and I am still looking!

I missed the boat on the cheap guns it seems, but if anyone finds some I can turn into sim fire, let me know and take pitty on a guy with 3 kids, one in college, and a wife and live in mother-in-law!  I don't have 4 grand for a pair of sim fire guns!

Has anyone considering dropping in some blank firing mechanisms into their 30. cals? I know a distributor for ASI guns. And was considering putting their UZI into the case of the browning. Or perhaps just a long shrouded barrel mod. Lots of flash and bang, fully auto at 15 rounds per 1.9 seconds, and spits brass all over the place. Downside is ammo will cost you, especially if firing often. Ammo runs about $15 per 50 rounds. And I dont know how i feel about brass falling all over my paint job.

They retail for $300/ea, so this could be done at a fraction of the cost of the propane/oxy route. If others are interested, I know I could get a deep discount on these in a quantity purchase.

I am still considering this as an option, but would love to hear thoughts.

Here is the Youtube of the ASI UZI Blank Firing

Casey's 89 batmobile does that. There should be a video of it on his build log.

Casey has the propane/oxy guns i believe. I am talking about 9mm blank firing rounds, that actually spit shells.
