well as far as im concerned, when we pushed the button, the canopy opened and it wasnt a digital effect, which i believe was the question asked. so i dont know about you, but that was pretty darn actual in my book.

Hows is goin Blinky. Welcome to the board lad. Tell me this, is there an actuator arm joining the top of the conopy to the top of the car(behind ur head when ur sitting in the car)???

i dont think so. the car is meant for batman and robin to leap out during the show, and im sure they didnt want anything snagging. the canopy opens like the movies, its pushed from the sides.

In the movies there was an actuator connected to the top although they tried not to show it.

Ok this isn't Batman the movie but it's the returns car and u can clearly see the actuator arm.

I'm sure there's lot's of ways to do it but I was just curious how ur's was done. Sneek a camera in next time will ya

I disagree Nitro. That cannot be the Returns car. For one, neither of the movie cars had actuators in the center. And that car has the little antennae on the top which I only remember on the OnStar car.

wasn't the onstar car one of the movie cars? Plus, I know at one point someone captured a screenshot with keaton using the actuator as a brace to get in or out of the car.
