That one is actually sitting on the floor and it has an 84 style rim sitting under the wheel well. The older photos are of Jeff Holland's "Brin's" old car if memory serves me right.

I edited the post because you had a ton of html markup tags that weren't escaped for the forum so the fonts were weird and some characters turned into . Are you copying from Word or another program?

Back to Justin's original post......That was a great lead-in that got seemingly side-tracked.
From the outside looking in, here's some info I'd think would be helpful under the FAQ if someone's up to the task (since I don't know enough by any sense). Perhaps its already here somewhere and I missed it, but on the main discussion page possibly a FAQ heading would be a great lead in seemingly?

For example, which wheel Manufactuer was the wheel for the '89---or others? (Centerline)?
Are there other Mfg's of similiar sized wheels that people opt for to get the same look?
Backspacing issues or specs for say, the Caprice donor over the Vette donor? (no clue who's using what for donors except those 2 I read here)

Since I understand a 33" wheel is used at the rear, why would, say the 33x16.5x15 tire be better or worse than the 33x19.5x15? Does this imply one body is more narrow at front or rear than another (and if known, why)?

Which Mfg. made the tires for the 89 Movie Car (Mickey Thompson?)? Are these still available?
What wheel/tire combo's are being put on, say the Caprice Donors over, say the Vette Donors?
What is the correct bolt-pattern for each? (Caprice is 5x127mm or "5 on 5").

What is the actual wheelbase spec' for the '89 movie car?
What is the wheelbase spec' generally for the replicas being cranked out. And, if they're different, is the difference in the length? Width? Stance etc.? Except for ride height issues that the Carmel bat seems to have overcome, what are the issues for roadworthiness? Given the length, are they too long to get on any certain type of trailer or over the usual curb you think of at any business?

Maybe those items above could be under a heading about Wheels/Tires or such?

Body to chassis fitment: I imagine this should be addressed after the airbags are in or desired wheels are in place?

Springs replaced with airbags? Cut? If cut, how many coils and why?

Engines.........you can put any power plant in just about anything if you want to, but I was told the Caprice motor mounts should be ideally moved rearward for better fitment/balance under the shell? Any truth to that? Does the Vette for require any motor-mount mods?

How accessible is the engine on the '89 Bats? Most hoods tilt up or no? Has anyone got a hood that, similiar to a Model-T has a left or right opening side hinged in the top/center? Might that interfere with the center canopy slide mechanism?

PARTS: Gothamcruisers is clearly jamming with the '89 (and very nicely located in my midwestern state for reference), but who offers what? Quality? Pricing? Is there a price list somewhere w/o having to make a litany of calls.
If there's no concern over calling your parts this or that for a glorified kit car without using the TM names, a "go to" list might be neat or some indication of who's using what to create this or that or find this or that etc.

Having gone down a bumpy road with my '66 learning curve, Justin is on point when he suggests ONE location to get all the best '89 info desired. The same questions over and over and over and over and over and over...............can be annoying even for the reader. And, I didn't find any of this addressed under any one thread. It took pouring over others details to get the few tidbits one can pick up.

These may well aready be on this site, but if they are, I didn't (easily) find them. I did enjoy what I've read tho'.

BTW, mine was born 1.1.11
