You want me to pack it with all the other disks I still owe you? I already burned the MOVIES GREATEST CARS thing for you and Tim, but then I got slammed with opening the new shop and all. I am going to make a concentrated effort to get them out to you both by the END OF THIS WEEK!!! Ask Dee - I take forever but I eventually pull through!

That is all really nice, I am collecting info to start making my own 1989 batmobile, with certain modifications due to the road conditions in the caribbean i live in the dominican republic and we have huge street bumps therefore hidraulics are a most. i have an idea to make the illution of the fire of the turbine and i would like your opinion about it, it is to make the escape of the engine's pipes go through a direct pipe to the turbine exit which will have a light and reflective mirros and will recreat the illution of fire, i've done it but in an smaller scale and it looks ok
here is a graphic to explain better:
and I would like to know how to make the canopy work, whill it be with a hidraulic or electric motor? do you have blue prints to it?
It's all about the car, chicks just love it!

hmmm,interesting.
Well, I'd like to adda few hair brained ideas, probably already stated, but overlooked...
-mirrors,
I have a camera, very small, monted on the back of my Murci Lambo replica now, that shows behind, and blind spots. It works great, and relieves having to have mirrors. A much needed thing on the 89.
Also, I bougth 2 AMT netherland turbines for a VERY realistic turbine sound when driving. They produce 50 pounds thrust each, an actual grat boost on the freeway to any car.... 100 lbs combined thrust moves a 1/2 ton of mass, without getting to technical. IE, you would feal it when the turbines throttle up 100%.
The trubines are for RC jets, but work great for amking a crap-load of noise.
Unfortunately though they are $3500 a piece.
Mahalo...

use firestone airbags. Hydraulics will kill your car, I KNOW, used to build show lowriders.

thanks for the tip about de hydraulics but will the air bag also work for the canopy? please check the idea I have, I have think of many ways to make the canopy but the one i find mor practical is with an extention bar to help the canopy wheel base move down the rail in a soft way, so graphically it would be like this:
is there an easier way to make it work? if so please let me know
also... it is a very good idea the building forum.
Do you have photos or a diagram of the instalation of the turbine? I would like to see that installed

I, too, would like to see these turbines. And where did you get them?
