For those of us, who have yet to build our replica 89's (summer 06 start for me if my finances hold true, and I can get the mold.)I must confess this sordid, guilty pleasure of mine. I'm guilty of loading Danny Elfman's Score to Batman into my car's CD player and playing "Decent into Mystery" while I floor it on the open roads at night.
Gives me goosebumps when the fanfare hits.
Also I must say this, after much thought, is there a way that anyone can offer a larger 89 to people than the 1:18. After looking fondly at it for so long, and then seeing the size of the TYCO RC Tumbler, I wan't a larger 89 now. Sadly also the standard Hotwheels plastic light plugs are really a problem. Dave, I love your car, I do... but I now want at least a 1:6 or 1:7 model. I can't afford to bid on the Gary Kurtz car, if I bid on that it would demolish any hope of my replica project.
A little song, a little dance..... Batman's head on a lance.

Keaton Car I called Tyco last week to air that same concern. The guy who is in costumer service said if enough people do ask for a product it is listened to by marketing. It could have been a nice way to say F--- O-- like our Webmaster does.

Don't forget about this...
Yes I still have it but only one car that will actually play a cassette tape. I guess I should buy the CDs.

thanks DooHee, been after that clip for years. I have been too crumby to buy the first dvd release, now this will tide me over until the special editions.

For my money, the Prince CD is a waste, the Elfman Score is the better cd from the first movie, but overall I prefer the Batman Returns Score. Selina Transforms is a sad, lonely piece that really feeds you the birth of Catwoman well. The strings are used strongly in this track, also the death of Penguin is a standout as well.
From the first score, Decent into Mystery is best. I would like to have the last few moments of the finale track playing as my Replica's hood slides away on each side of the central beam, into the car's engine bay to reveal a shiny chromed and blue neon lit V8 and just as the engine canopy stops the final chimes strike and the fanfare pops. Awesome, very unlikely to happen due to cost, but I would like people to see the actual engine used without using a liftable shell.

reveal a shiny chromed and blue neon lit V8 I'm sorry I thought you were talking about the 89 Batmobile. You should change your name to KilmerCar or ClooneyCar.
