That's it right there folks. AMAZING. My entire life has culminated into this one moment! I am the happiest I have ever been! The movie was awesome, and that is coming from someone who had a lot to say about the Tumbler, the costume, and even the cast. ALL DOUBTS ARE GONE! So many great quotes and scenes, I am not sure I can even remember HALF of them!

One fave: "You're not the devil.... You're PRACTICE!"

Man, there are so many more. FINALLY someone did a Batman movie that does absolute JUSTICE to our favorite hero. I can't wait until you all see it!

PS - I kinda miss the Bat Nipples.

Hands down, the best batman movie. Seeing it was one of the greatest experiences of my entire life. No exaggeration.

And I hate to say it, but Bale is Batman, not Keaton.

Just in.....

Ohhhh how good was that??!!!

I walked out of the cinema with my 10 year old feeling 10 again.

The cinematography was fantastic, the fight scenes shot from the bad guys prespective blew me away!

Ahh hell, I am on a major high!

And the tumbler, hell, what a vehicle. I want one!

Now that I have had time to sit and think about what I have just seen, a few things that come to mind...

Lots borrowed from Frank Miller's comics.

Katie Holmes didn't do much for me. Last scene she was in seemed forced.

Liam Neeson bad assed bad guy. Kinda reminded me of Alan Rickman out of die hard.

Gary Oldman is James Gordon from the comics - gee he even looked like Frank Miller's Gordon. Morgan Freeman was just what I thought Lucis Fox should be and he made me think of Q out of the James Bond flicks. Michael Cain, whilst not the image of Alfred we all know, was brilliant - he had lot's of great lines and kept Bruce together. Cillian Black didn't do much for me, but my son said later that he was creepier than he expected the scarecrow to be.

Christian Bale, if he can pull off a sequel, will be my Batman of choice. He gets it right as the tortured soul, the rich " who gives a rat's arse" playboy and of course the as dark night.

The backstory was fantastic explaining why and how the dark night and weaponry came to be.

Overall a good night out with my son and as I said before I am on a high and feel like I am a 10 year old again. I think that I have bored my wife silly the past couple of hours recounting the story with my son. As for my little guy he wants to know when we can go and see Batman Begins again!

Woudln't call it the best. It was definitely good but I can't decide which one is better. Burton's or Nolan's

Burton once said early Batman script was exactly like that of Superman and found no difference between Superman movie. And he scrapped that reworked the script with Hamm to bring Batman right into the action and show origin in flashback.
Obviously Nolan took the que from original superman movie and turned it into batman movie. Bale was good but I thought he had no expression as Batman. Everytime they showed Bale as Batman, it seemed as if he's constantly sucking on a lemon

Awesome movie everyone should see but I'll probably find myself rewatching burton's dvd in future.

The more that I think about it the moew I am liking Bale as Batman.

Is Bale the best Batman? I'll give Keaton his dues, Bale gets the best gear to work with in this movie.

Bale's voicing of Batman voice sounds funny at times as does some of his expressions (Baneful's sucking a on lemon), I think this is due to Batman's maturity as a crimefighter. He is still learning how to be The Dark Knight.

This also has to be the first time I've seen a Batman onscreen that's not easy to work out Bruce Wayne is also Batman. ( Does that make sense??)

The costume looks good too, first time aside from Adam West where I have seen a flexable believable costume. There are some fantastic parts of the film that go into the explanation of how all the weponary works which explains it all to the new bat fan a little, but adds a lot to making Batman beliveable. Let's say I am one happy camper today! Bring on the DVD!
