It's driving me nuts because I can't find them but I have CAD files of the dash with all of the gauges. Those files are 1:1 scale and would help you guys a LOT! I have images of those files for now and will send those of to Jack. Jack, you out there bud?

I think the big problem is that you guys are trying to find out what the actual parts were from. See, for me I just documented what was on the car, and how it looked...still didn't get it right for the 1/18th but oh well, I tried to get it close. When I researched this I spoke to many people at WB and others that worked on the film and they threw out names of the parts but I CAN'T REMEMBER NOW! The side parts were off a British helicopter, but exactly?..argh! Sooo...I'm going to start tracking down my old contacts and hopefully get you guys some answers soon. I never would have guessed back then that regular folks were building full-size versions. Blows me away...wish I had paid attention.

Dave

Man, Don't be so hard on yourself.

Your diecast is the next best thing after the real one.

Any chance of a few more pics of the Halloween dream 1/7 dave, it was such a shame it was only available in that 1/64 scale to those kids.

We have a model shop/die-cast dealer near here that has larger scale cars than 1/18, maybe 1/10 or 1/12 and I was thinking.... mattel should offer that 1/7 scale Keaton Batmobile as a collector club/chickslovethecar.com limited issue exclusive. I know I would have one if it was not priced at $800+

*KeatonCar looks over at his 1/18 hotwheels Keaton Batmobile* Dave... thanks buddy, we all owe you for this one.

Hey Jack,
As Tim noted the 'helecopter' logo. All of these panels are from aircraft. If you're looking for a specific line- they're kept pretty standard with exception to 'frills' they may want to apply (CD players and the like)
I'd have to agree with Baneful and add that if you're going to put in a switch or button, it should be functional.
Got to stand next to an 89 this past weekend and trying to get pictures I can put on this site.

Well, good thing "Fred" popped up just now to warn us about Kevin.... We should all stop listening to him now because "Fred" said he is full of shit. That's it, guys - add him to the BANNED list with Tim and Jack.
