So, why is there only around 250 Ultimate True Movie Batman batarang collections?
The main reason has to do with the limited availability of the ICONS Batarang.
ICONS was in the process of making a limited run of 500 of this batarang when they closed their doors.
The paperwork and authenticity documents were produced for all of the 500 pieces.
However, only around 350, or so, of the actual pieces were completed.
Thus, anyone wanting to create an Ultimate True Movie Batman batarang collection will have to overcome the primary obstacle of obtaining the ICONS batarang. Without it you will have an incomplete collection.
When they show up a auctions this movie correct batarang sells for around 3000.00
As seen in the movie "BATMAN & ROBIN", made by the now defunct company ICONS. This Batman's Batarang authentic replica is a precise reproduction of an original Batarang used in filming Batman & Robin. A master mold was taken directly off an original used by actor George Clooney in his role as Batman, the Dark Knight of Gotham City. Spun cast in zinc metal and chrome plated, each Batarang is hand assembled under the direct supervision of film and television special effects artisans in the U.S.A. The black Plexiglas display base features a Mr. Freeze influenced blue ice background, the whole display can be hanged to the wall with the wall mount system at the back of the display case.
