Over the past 4-years I had a lot of health issues, mostly bone and joint, that significantly curtailed much of the building on my Tumbler and Justice League Bat Vehicles. Finally, had enough from the pain and decided that surgery could not be any worse. Want to thank everyone for their kind words and support.
Currently, 11-days post-surgery operations and they tell me I will be 90% recovered in 6-months.
From post-surgery day two to eleven I have been using a walker to cover a mile a day, along with stretching exercises and physical therapy.
Plan to continue doing a mile a day on walker with stretching exercises and physical therapy for next 19-days for a total of 30-days. Surgeons tell me I should be able to drive and give up the walker.
Note on choosing the best bone and joint surgeons.
How to choose well.
50-65 years old
Minimum of 20+ years of overall bone joint surgery experience, heavy on the treatment of sports and athletic injuries.
Bone and joint surgery are heavy on art, sculpture, structure, engineering, in addition to general medicine.
Avoid young bone and joint surgeons unless you want them making their learning mistakes on you. vertigo
