A Batarang prop from the 1997 film Batman & Robin has been donated to the Smithsonian Institution, and is in the National Museum of American History's entertainment collection. It was donated by Warner Bros. studio chairman Barry Meyer in 2013. After being offered their choice of 1:1 batarangs they chose the 1997 to be reflective of their idea of the most relevant of the batman movies.

The ICONS 1997 movie batarang is the most sought after batarang. I have one and it is quite impressive but certainly is not reflective of the most relevant Batman movie.

ICONS 1997 Batarang 250-350 completed before company went out o business.
Most sought after batarang by collectors.
Mine cost me 600.oo delivered.
Average 1,000.oo and up today, if you can find one.
Signed by 1997 movie actor who played batman 3,000.oo to 5,000.oo
Photo-authenticated with certificate.

I have a feeling that this movie was chosen because of George Clooney appearing as Batman.
Never mind everything that was wrong with the movie, negative critic responses, and poor box office performance.
