Well here we go after about a year of research and finding a place to do my build. We found the 2 donor cars. We are off to build a unique build that will modify the canopy for better seal. I like the original as a 2 seater but we are looking modifying for a rear passenger seating area. Only one reason drives me to make that modification and that is kids are going to love this car in our area and why only take one when you can sit 4 more in the rear area. Original size is not to change. This is a long time of planning and we are ready to start. Since we already have the donor cars we printed the blue prints at actual size yesterday. I will post a picture of it laid out.

These are the donor cars. Since I'm not too technical so we may use some components that are already built and modify to work for our project.

Not your usual donors for sure. A 4 seater is an interesting concept. Looking forward to following your build.

Your correct, but after measuring lots of cars and the room need these became the logical choices

Cisco,

Do you have your body yet? If so, where did you get it? I'm looking to build one myself to take to Children's hospitals here in NC. Or, if anyone knows of one anywhere up the East coast for sale, please let me know. I just found these forums tonight and apparently I don't have enough street cred to read the postings of other cars for sale.

Thanks,
Mark

No we are doing a full build. We are just now getting started and will be building the plug frame shortly and then the fiberglass body. Keep in mind that we are building to a suburban frame which is a unique build and we are building to allow passengers behind the drivers seat. Our build is to incorporate additional of 2-4 passengers in the back. Once we build the first we can talk about building a body for you. At this point we do not have a cost figure. Private message me you contact info.

OK so we looking to clarify this on the blueprints. On the side view it says 12.96' on Wheelbase. Now the top view says 11.77' Wheelbase. Can anyone answer this one?

In my opinion you are crazy trying to build your own fibreglass shell.

But each to their own, and good luck.

I'll check back in 5 years and see how you are going
