Yes DooHee I have been busy. My goal was to finish and start right back on the Lambos, but building the BK has rekindled a desire to build the Batpod replica. I really want to feel what it was like to ride a batpod and since I've had no offers to ride someone elses I guess I have to make one. The Big Mahalo will just be a prop but I can then move onto building a running one. At the same time I would like to build a revised version. One that looks the same but I can address each issue. Street legal tires, beveled tires, correct centering of spindle, steering mechanism that doesnt cut through the fork, balance, chain tensioner, shoulder steer. But I got to understand the real batpod before I can address those issues.

As always build the bike on paper then attempt to build in composites. I feel like that famous quote from Newton in that if I have been able to see further to create my projects its only because I stood on the shoulders of giants who came before me, Doohee, Rusty, Jack, Kevin, Parker Brothers, Shaggy, Youngbat and all the helpful members of CLTC.

Thanks David, that means a lot coming from you. See you over at the Big Mahalo build. Oh check out my www.batbuilder.com and follow me on Bat Builder on facebook. Happy fabricating.....BWD

I'm more interested in what neighbors thought when you broke her limbs and then reattach them to fit your needs
