AMEN

I started mine in May of '04. Of course I haven't been working on it 8 hours a day 5 days a week, but who can do that AND hold a full time job, kids, etc unless that IS your full time job.. Plus mine is more like a caricature of the '89 which makes it much easier than if I was going to sculpt an exact replica.

Joker, I plan on using a 74 Impala chassis for the donor by the info i have read on this and other sites that was what was used.I'm sure that others will still say a vette or whatever but i chose the impala. Not sure exactly what i will use it for. Maybe local parades and such. Not too worried about making it street legal. Thanks for the vote of confidence.

Big $$$$$$ seriously , this 95 car is just insane! not to mention, the 2 or 3 redo's ultimatly . myself that is . I also have to mention , I built the edition on my home specificaly for the Batmobile ($$$$$$$$)
Crazy?? most people would say yes, but what the hell else would we do?
this is the ultimate working prop! Bob D has dedicated over 20 years of Batman study, myself around 8 . to do a car from scratch is just crazy .
the car is really coming along . every week there is more and more . and every week there is more and more money going out.
last weekend Bob D came over to help me pull a mold on the big fin , the fin alone both sides cost me over 2k . that is not including the clay ,buckets , stir sticks, brushes etc. to really do a Batmobile movie qaultiy from scratch takes major time and major Money.
but if you really want it , then definatly do it !
