I have been on this website for awhile now and here goes my first question. I have already looked in other posts for the answer, and did not find one yet so here it goes. Can anyone tell me the total distance of the rear tires from one side to the other? Follow up question, how wide is the dually axle that was used to build real car? I know a few of you have tumbler projects in the works and should already have this info. Thanx in advance for the help.

Someone might be able to help you, but we're more 89 focused. I think www.doesitcomeinblack.com is the site where you'll get that info. (Though it's still being created).

wait. I thought www.doesitcomeinblack.com was for the B&R car. Isn't that how this whole thing works? I think he'll have to wait for the next movie to come out before he gets a site with answers.

It makes sense that www.doesitcomeinblack.com would be the future home of a website dedicated to the tumbler as it quotes a line from Batman Begins referencing the Batmobile. But then shouldn't www.chickslovethecar.com be the 1995 Batmobile website, instead of www.chicksdigthecar.com which should've been dedicated to the 1997 Batmobile?

Theres plenty of quotes that could be used fittingly to reference the 1989-1992 Batmobile. Such as:

www.getinthecar.com
www.shieldsopen.com
www.justlookforablackcar.com (from the Diet Coke commercial)
www.difficulttomiss.com (also from commercial)
www.h-bombonwheels.com (Batman Returns)

anyone have any other possible ideas?

I must admit those are some really good replies, none of which I could actually use, but all nice attempts. I really appreciate the humor. Now, is there anyone close to an answer. From what I already know about the car it measures 9' 4" at it's widest point. The widest point however is not the tires in back, the tread width on the 44's it uses is 14.4", got that measurement off Interco tire website. Therefore 4 tires wide would only measure about 5-5.5 feet given the extra room for inflation leaving a whopping gap off over 4 feet for the room in between the tires where the turbine exhaust goes. I have also measured that space and it is roughly the size of 1 and 3/4 of another rear tire. Thank you again in advance for your replies.
