  My new toy
 From: Aussie_batman | Posted: 3/15/2005 8:18:54 PM |

RE: My new toy

Both those places won't ship down here. It has something to do with warranty between Mattel in the US and down here. I used to own a couple of Toy shops in Sydney in a previous life and found this out from the crew at Hasbro. I'll have to wait until they are available in Canada.

Sigh

RE: My new toy

DO NOT PUT ON SHELVE UNTIL 04/02/05

RE: My new toy

Must be the same writer at Mattel, who did the Showcase packaging. (Shelve is a verb, Shelf is the noun)

RE: My new toy

Aren't you gonna open it and share what's inside with us?

 From: Tim | Posted: 3/18/2005 12:10:46 AM |

RE: My new toy

No way! They're mine, all mine and I'm not gonna share. As a matter of fact stop looking at the box!

Just kidding, the box isn't mine, it's Jacks...

RE: My new toy

Can anyone translate any of that? That sure looks like it could be the actual car instead of the model.

 From: autoprops713 | Posted: 4/12/2005 11:36:21 PM |

RE: My new toy

Yeah, the pics are of the actual car for sure. I'll say one thing, WB sure is pumping/ or I should say pimping this car out there. Not sure what size this would be at 1/35 scale but that's kindda small. For Batmobiles...the bigger, the better! I dolove this thing though more and more.

RE: My new toy

The above is a plastic model.
The few words I can make out are: 'High Quality Detail' and 'Real Grid Pattern tires'

RE: My new toy

I still think it looks like darth vader's helmet from some front angles.

RE: My new toy

RE: My new toy

Actually I meant "huh" with a confused look on my face...

Maybe I'm just slow, but I don't know what you mean about a kit..

 From: KeatonCar | Posted: 4/30/2005 5:51:20 PM |

RE: My new toy

piece of kit means nice piece of personal equipment. part of your kit, your collection.

RE: My new toy

I still think it looks like darth vader's helmet from some front angles.

Spencer from batmobile history sees it differently.

RE: My new toy

No, I think it is supposed to look like this Vermeer trench digger. ...or it could be I am losing my mind. I was using this yesterday to run a 60 amp line out to my garage for my compressor, but this thing sure looks like the tumbler to me. I feel like Richard Dryfus on Close Encounters and he keeps seeing that shape in his mashed potatos and shaving cream...
