  Batmobile Forever Question
 From: The Joker | Posted: 9/8/2004 8:29:10 AM |

RE: Batmobile Forever Question

The cover turns with the wheels. Just think that it is connected to the steering wheel, so that it is capable of turning with the wheel without scrubbing the tyres.

RE: Batmobile Forever Question

ok people its settled we all pretty much lost,

"...actually, double-ring and pinion gearing in the rear, the front center was
attached to the spindle. There are methods to make an image appear static, but
we had to backlight the panels due to night shooting requirements, so we had to
use mechanical methods.

Charley"

and there we have it, str8 form people who worked on the car, cased closed.

RE: Batmobile Forever Question

Seriously, the new Rolls-Royce Phantom has stationary emblems on the wheels. One could probably find how it's done by visiting a Rolls-Royce inspired website. I'm not going to do it, because it doesn't really matter to me. I'm just trying to help you guys out.

RE: Batmobile Forever Question

On a side note, what's the point of this batmobile?

Some thug can just throw a ranch inside those open engine and cause the car to halt or blow up.
The car might as well have the disco strobe on topo what with all those luminations

RE: Batmobile Forever Question

im more upset with the city then the car, the car i kinda like the design of, wouldnet take the time to build it like i am the 89, but as i siad the city im more upset with, u go form an old typ looking city in batman returns to this brite moer advacned city. oh and the other thing that ticks me off is its almost beliveable that his bat gripling cable can hold him, but holding that safe at the begining and not to mention it just slid back into place perfectly. batman and robin was just like forever with the things i hate. like when robin flew though the door and the busted door created a batsybol, last time i check driving though a door bust the door up not into a batsymbol. but i did like when batman slid down the trex. but getting back on topic, the only real thing i hate on the forever batmobile is the front headlights. evertime i think of them i think of speedbuggy cartoon car

RE: Batmobile Forever Question

I agree with sg1star for the most part. I kinda like the look of that car. It is menacing. I wouldn't see BATMAN using it to fight crime though... Maybe you could see it at an import car show with ground effects and all that, sitting next to a tricked out Eclipse or RX8. I will probably build one when I am done with my '89, just for fun. GOTHAM CITY is what I have a problem with in the later movies. Gimme a break. It looks ridiculous!

(Oh, and I will definately change the headlights on the Forever car. I agree that they look too cartoony.)

RE: Batmobile Forever Question

Only the city bothered u guys?

I was bothered by the nipples on batsuits and the close-ups of the butt shots!

 From: sg1star | Posted: 9/9/2004 2:27:36 PM |

RE: Batmobile Forever Question

yes kill the nipples on the suit, i dident care much for the close up butt shots either but for that they were appealing more to the women so i can understand that.

RE: Batmobile Forever Question

Let's rant shall we? I'm going to agree with everyone about the Forever and B&R movies whyle we're at it. Way too cartoony. Too many lights, Gotham is supposed to be a bleak depressing place, not Las Vegas on steroids. I'm not all that crazy about the cars either. The Forever car looks like you could have stripped all of the flesh and meat off the B&R car and been left with its skeleton. There was also too many vehicles in B&R. Why would Batman have build all of those snow vehicles in the first place? Why would they have ice skates built into their boots? We should start a new forum for this because we have gotten way off the original subject. Oh yeah, whyle we're getting off the subject, I want to apologyze guys. I know I said I'd share my pics of my camaro project, but that cannot happen right now. My camera's still not working and I'm putting it on pause for a whyle to go back to school. But I'll keep everyone updated.

RE: Batmobile Forever Question

What about those grappling hooks too?
The way Clooney was able to fire one from each arm and blast upward of 200+ feet and then pick up Robin and Batgirl on the way and still pull himself up.
So I guess the pulley system was built into the suit.
Then where were those 200+ foot long wires stored and where was the pulley system concealed?

Or how 'bout those glowing bullet clips on at the beginning of the forever or the glowing nightsticks the gang member use

RE: Batmobile Forever Question

"Or how 'bout those glowing bullet clips on at the beginning of the forever or the glowing nightsticks the gang member use"

I think i can explain the glowing nightsticks, you see the gangs leader meant to bulk order the deadly "Nuetron Nighstick" (from gothamshenchman-gear.com) with its stun-gun style end but accidentally ordered the glowing "Naughtynight Stick" with its assorted vibrating attachments. Easy mistake to make, well thats what he said anyway.
