New Project

I'm more than a little jealous of you guys who are building replica cruisers so I thought I'd work on one of my own for the time being...

RE: New Project

Wow.
So many talented people on board.

RE: New Project

Hey, that looks great. I'm guessing you've done that before. It looks pretty big too, cut from a 4' x 8', right?

Do you have any other plans for it? You could put some blocks on the back and back light it with some of that rope light. Maybe even get some yellow lenses for the front lights.

RE: New Project

Hey Tim,

Yeah, I cut it from a 4' x 8'. I like the ideas you came up with. I'll check those out. Thanks.

RE: New Project

I did a tree like that for my girls' room and it looks pretty cool. Blue lights would probably look cool on yours. Maybe a few red ones in the rear for some tailight/afterburner glow.

RE: New Project

i can build and engineer about anything, but i envy people that can paint/draw. when u build and engineer things ur limited by physics, but people who can draw in paint (not talking about on the comptuer, thats easyer then in real life) but people who can draw and paint nicely in real life is only limited by there imagination.

RE: New Project

Thanks for the compliments guys. I've been working on it some more and I thought I'd update y'all. I still have a lot of shading, blending, and detail work to do but it's coming along.

I put a dollar bill on the wall to show the scale.

RE: New Project

Looks freakin' great! If you sit back a bit it looks like a photograph. I can't wait to see what it will look like in the end.

RE: New Project

What is it?

 From: Tim | Posted: 3/28/2005 3:01:18 PM |

RE: New Project

It's the Batmobile, used in the 1989 movie "Batman", starring Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson. Perhaps you've heard of it.

RE: New Project

Really?
I thought this is place to discuss and show appreciation about the mastery of Batman and Robin movie and its batmobile.
I didn't know there were any other batmobiles or any other movies prior to above masterpiece.

RE: New Project

Where's VMan?

Maybe we need to make people register so that we can get their email address and email them to come back.

RE: New Project

I've emailed him and he's still around, just not coming here anymore I guess.
