A public apology to Mark Shields...

A public apology to Mark Shields...

I would like to take this moment to offer my public apology(sp?) to Mr. Shields. It seems some comments I made quite some time ago were offensive to him, and understandably so! I did say some things about him on the SHH boards without knowing all the facts! After looking back, I re-read what I had written and it was not nice, to say the least (CLICK HERE TO READ).

I sent Mark a response e-mail, and I explained all this to him. Also, I told him that although I do not particularly care for his car (it is simply not to my taste) I DO respect the work of whoever built it. I feel the same way about several cars I have seen, as we all know.

Regardless of my personal opinions of the car, I should not have said anything unkind about Mark! ~end rant~

RE: A public apology to Mark Shields...

I don't see why you need to apologize.

The guy gets off on anyone who dont' like his car.

He also posted here ONCE to give attitude to people who had honest opinion of his car.

RE: A public apology to Mark Shields...

I know... But when I made the above statements, it was BEFORE I had ever even spoken to him. I based them off of what I read on his site. I still don't like his car, and I think if he has a problem with people's perceptions of his car, he should let it roll off his back... But I also think that someone who is trying to cause me problems contacted Mr. Shields and directed him to that thread. That is an OOOOOLD thread, and he just contacted me about it right now. Soooo... I am not going to let anyone cause problems based on things I said long ago. If Mr. Shields still has a problem with me, then at least I made the effort.

Yup... It's time to register this board, DH. Brett appears to have hit rock bottom. Hey Brett, can I play that recording of you? All your pointless rhetoric seems to be making it's way around again. Very exciting stuff. You never showed up to kick HIS ass, either, huh?

RE: A public apology to Mark Shields...

That was strange I was in the Blueprint thread and it posted here?

RE: A public apology to Mark Shields...

I was probably deleting a topic when you posted. So it got linked to another one.

Might as well keep posting here since all this is 100% categorically Justin's fault.
