Tumbler

I know this site is devoted to the 1989 Batmobile which rocks, but this was teh only place I could turn. I was wondering if anyone has access to technical drawings of the tumbler or knows someone who has them. Stuff like the frame, steering, etc. Also, can someone give me contact info for anyone who's building the tumbler? thanks guys

RE: Tumbler

http://www.rodsandracers.com/trix_batmobile.htmlsorry dude, but you are treading on toes that puts us all at risk here. If anything, Warners would press to have this site shut down for real for providing info like that on the new car. I speak only for myself... good luck though, maybe Warners will issue blueprints like they did on the 89, or maybe there will be more details when a behind the scenes book is issued. For now I can only direct you to these guys....http://www.rodsandracers.com/trix_batmobile.html

RE: Tumbler

Who wants what?

The Tumbler was built by Nathan Crowley as a 2 foot model, then scanned into a 3D file...then cleaned up by some WB people. That cleaned up version was used as a master pattern to create the full-size models. Then after the full-size cars were done...they were re-scanned and craeted for CG stunt models. I like the car a lot but the original Nathan model rocks!

RE: Tumbler

This is supposedly the 1:18 Tumbler. I hope not...

RE: Tumbler

Not sure what that is Tim...is that a long distance shot of the male action Mattel version? What's funny is that the front tires are completely wrong BUT they look close to the prototype Begins car. I have pics somewhere I received of the 1/18 die-cast Hot Wheels model and it looks nice.

RE: Tumbler

Someone is taking pre orders and this is the picture they are using. I found it on BOTB.

Page 3 (I say basically the same thing about the front tires)

RE: Tumbler

I'm calling my buddy tomorrow (that runs that group) and finding out more. Man, I sure hope thats not it! The pics I have is of the pattern and the wheels on that model were not final and were just round white slugs. I mean even the rear wheel hub has something sticking out of it in that photo? WTF?
