haha. Word. Which reminds me! I have been trying to get the measurements for Dan so I can get them to YOU, Jack. After I measure the wheelbase and spacing and all that jazz, I figure you could help me recommend the correct sizes. I think you are right that your's should be the same as his though... If only his builder were home when I went by!!!! I will try again this weekend.

RE: Don or who ever.

It mainly depends on what base car you used, you need a wheel and tire to fill up the wheel well without hitting the wells when turned clock to clock. Typically 10X15 rims are used. I used a 1” backspacing on the rear rims and 3 ½” on the front. P275/60 R 15 is the largest tire you can use with those rims without hitting on the front end. I used P275/60 R15 on the back. I could have gone a little larger but I needed clearance for the airlift.
This all depend on what your base frame you are using, some builders have to use spacers on the wheels to get the depth they are looking for. I have found that the 91-96 Caprice & Impala are able to fill up the wheel wells nicely. The frame still needs to be extended to 24 ¼” in length to achieve the 141” wheelbase. Many of the Caprices and Impalas came with LT1 corvette motors.

Didn't I already give you these measurements, Nitro?

Like Kevin says.....or

use a 33" x 12.5 x 15" mud/snow tire...I bet it'll fit like a glove.

RE: Don or who ever.

If you can afford the tires and rims, the 33" looks best and is what is suppose to be on the car.
