RE: Fun with a bandsaw Thanks. No, I haven't done anything with it yet. I think the general shape of the trunk is correct, it's just the vents and the outline of the deck lid that are off. those wouldn't be incorporated in the station formers anyway... Last Edited by Tim: 12/9/2005 11:40:05 AM |

RE: Fun with a bandsaw No, I haven't gone any further with it. Cutting it up was the fun part. Scanning and tracing all the sections is very time consuming. I had a thought the other day. I think I could have sliced the whole thing horizontally. Of course if I wanted to translate that to full scale each section would have to be made up of several pieces of 4 x 8 foam. Dave, you were going to see if you could pull cross section from your CAD file. Any chance you might still do that? |
