Jack's Dash

Hay everyone; Jack has completed his dash and is holding out on the pictures. If he doesn't post them soon I will be forced to let him go and take in Kory as my new best friend!

<---- Jacks car is better than mine.

jack are you going to be able to pull your dash after the car is back together with out having to take your inside apart and do you have heat and air (and by the way that's very nice)

RE: Jack's Dash

Thanks guys. You guys really keep me motivated. I really should be doing other things and the GA is not ready for a dash yet but I couldn't help myself. Odds are it will be ruined before I get the rest of the car done. I probably should just mount it on the wall.

I hope I will never have to take the dash back out once it is installed but if I do it should only be a matter of taking out a few screws since the dash drops down in over everything else. I will have heat and A/C but I don't have it yet.

Nitro how about showing us your dash? Or any other pictures of your BBC.

2wylde, good idea but my dash is not like the original. It is shaped similar, but all the gauges, panels, etc are different. Back when I built models I would take pictures of real car license plates, shrink them down and put them on my models. Works pretty well.

Very nice Jack!

Great work.

I used to do the same thing with the plates when I did models.

Come to think of it... I still do models.

Awesome Jack! I actually thought you were posting a picture of a model until I saw the bike tire. I could definitely use one of those on my wall. Can't wait to see pictures of it in the car.

RE: Jack's Dash

Thanks again guys wait to you see the large pictures. For some reason I get an error when I try to upload them. Oh well.

Even though it was not on my list of things to do, I decided to test fit it in the GA. Fits pretty well and I think it looks even better in the car. Of course it make the rest of the car look crappy.
