I wonder if those bats on the rims stay in place while the rims spin

I have to give this guy respect for actually building all these cars. I'm interested in seein the last sketch come to life. Obviously it's inspired by the first car used in the new The Batman series. Looks like he might be using a newer Monte Carlo for his base, but I can't be sure.

RE: Cleve Dubois II

Yes the Bat are about 15" wide and they spin with the rim my first design was to make them stay in place like Batman Forever but once I seen them spin "there was no going back" You picture this Bigg Ford with DUEL glasspacks comeing down the road Blowing a Three Foot Flame and me in the suit....lol I've had a good friend of mine (that knew nothing about my car) tell me that she ran off the road looking at my car....but that was the Car that started it...After That the local Shiners Wanted me To Do A Halloween Show To Raise Money For Cippled and Burned Kids THUS,the Night Striker(Misty)Was born The top Slid like The Keaton Car "Everyone Thought it was A Vett...lol It was in fact 1986 Dodge Aris-k Slow But cheap enough to run all night at the show for the kids..OH and all my cars have girl names The First(78 Couger)Was Holly, next was Misty, then Two new Hollys (one of wich I still own)The BatBike (Christien),Stacy A 79 T/A(looks like the Sixties Car a lil bit sending pics soon)And the Odd ball Car There is a 1973 Pontiac G/P(Joy)After my MOM who Has Past..and The 1997 Riviara (Angel) After my Sister that I have't Seen for 13 Years or better "So as You can See each Car had A purpose I my Life The (73 JOY) I didn't build that It was my Dream Car BeCause When I was Little "IT WAS THE BATMOBILE IN CHARLESTON" I search for the car for 11 years when I found it,It was sitting under A GREAT OAK for 12 of those Years With no engine or trans...The Man That Built The Car had Gottin into A Bike Accident (About the same time my MOM past)He Was not able to fix his car afterwards So it Sat and rusted for 12 Years "He got hit riding home from the bar"But the only Reason he was on the Bike was Because he was RePainting His Engine for a local carshow that he never made it to.Like I said each Car Means something to me in it's own way..ok I won't Bore you guys anymore But I've Got alot of Bat-type Stories to tell Like Going To Clubs as BATMAN in the BAMOBILE but thats another story....lol later...

Cleve(Carl),

I like some of your ideas. I thought the last sketch might be for a Rivi or 'Carlo. While driving around today, I noticed Sunfires have a similar roofline. I'm sure those are plentiful in the yards.

RE: Cleve Dubois II

"My 89's" Well they started life as a 84 Caprice and afer a whole lot of cutin and weilding I had a Chassie to start with....I had to Lengthen the frame by 11-1/2" (What is the best Frame to use?)then i weilded in the cotpit Based on how it was on the model(I know our measerments are not the same) I think it has to do with me Blowingup a 1/25 scale model...But anyway I Used Cardboard and Lewon to create the basis for my fiberglass application I use 21 boxes of seranwrap to cover the cardboard and wood mold then it took about 4 weeks to complet the outer molding after the last coat I fliped the mold and coated the inside.....now on car 2 I used the same measerment but went to lowes (hardware) and bought foam insullation in 4x8 sheets took 31 sheets at a cost of $20.00 a sheet but i found that it was easyer to carve the car rather than bend it out of cardboard (I am open to any sugestions) well after all of the hard work I had to Clean up the body work (I just ued the grinder)a few Dab's of Bondo here and there and i was ready to mount the body (that got fun)because I for got to leave an inch out for fiberglass(on the first car) so all those perfect beads was grinded off after cutting 3/4 off(after what the grinder left) I reweilded everything and started molding on the dash(which is almost exact to your drawings)After that A good friend did the interrier for cheap$250.00 even put a headliner with lights After the body was fully mounted I did cut the roof off for window fitting (I won't lie)I cracked three peices on the left side for different reasons. But moving on I wanted the top to work and be solid so I used some old chesterdrower rails and bearings and a power window unit from the doner car...Specs.350 cid,350th trans shiftkit,H.52",W.90-1/2"L.227",W.B.140"..weight unknown(I had to cut the spings to give it the right ride height)TOPSPEED:about 130 Mph(maybe more but I didn't want to push it!)they do shoot Flame(thanks to a Propane Burner configuration I built....Any thing else I would be Happy to Answer....Pic's will be posted soon.....and like I said I'd like to learn the best ways to do everything(so all tips are appreciated) Thanks Again..
