Sweet! Those are cross-sections of the Batmobile, so you could build a plug like so: http://www.extremeconceptsengineering.com/plug/plug.html Have you done the entire car? How are you doing them?

RE: Profiles

you sliced!!!!!! is nothing sacred anymore. The world is going to shit and I want my momma.

Seriously though, how do you build from that to full 3d geometry, or is it just for building a scaled up wooden frame to clay and sculpt over????

RE: Profiles

Thanks! I probably have about 20 of the AMT models, so I don't feel too bad slicing one up... I know it's not the most accurate version but the basic shape is alright.
By the way, I sliced up one of the re-releases, not one that I bought back in '89...

I also have a "sacrificial" 1:18 Hot Wheels car that I have disassembled. I thought about slicing that one up, but haven't been able to bring myself to do that yet. I only have 7 or 8 of those. I have a profile gauge that I may use for that, but slicing it up is more fun.

He's won Batgod's prize and I also sent him something this week.

Some might think this site was created soley for his amusement or something
