I was building an exo-skeleton for my hood so I can thicken it up (more like Batgod's and Mark's) and I noticed that near the gun door the body doesn't seem to be square but rather a slight dip. I figured it had to be my body but I noticed the 1/18th has the same dip.

i think mines the same..mark told me thats why he didnt make the gun doors thick so they can be flex to fit the body then braced up with flat iron

jack,kevin,and i think nitro has a car too. have you braced up your canopy yet or will you have to....i think im going to use 1 inch x .25 flat to do the bottom and small sqare tube threw the top ...got any better ideas

I glassed in a large lip with a ˝” edge so I can place a rubber seal around the canopy. This helps the canopy maintain it's shape and gives the canopy rigidity.

Nitro did just what you said Rusty. I have yet to do much of anything to the canopy. Just last week I was making a wood exo-skeleton for the canopy to help it hold the correct shape while I thicken and brace it up. Heck I'm just waiting on you to do yours so I can copy it.
