The Jay cars I have seen have a full body tilt like the Nascar vehicles.

By "tilt" are you guys referring to an air ride suspension where the car can either raise in the front only or raise the whole car?

Maybe Kevin sent it to you? Like when I named that mold pic "Tim's Molds" because you sent it to me. Looks like a Currie kit, but I can't be sure.

Nevermind - doubt it is a Currie kit. The canopy is curved and I THINK I see the door point turning in to the car when you open it.

RE: 2 tilt or not 2 tilt

How else would you retain an accurate look and have the engine be accessible other than for the "hood" to tilt up that way? I always assumed that was the way the real car worked, based on the seam lines. The "turbine engine" in Batman Returns was obviously just for show.

RE: 2 tilt or not 2 tilt

i thought some one might have done a lift off front like use the latch on the sides and two pins in the front wheel well so you could set it out of the way and you wouldnt have to worry about the spoiler hitting or your head

Kev I take it that kit is just sitting on a chassis, yea? The rear wheel looks a tad small and i think the ehxaust would just melt the bootlid

Bob used truck rear ends to widen the stance of the car. Doesn't look like he got that far in that picture.

<------ Jack I would never hold out on you buddy.
