95 car updates
some 95 car updates. Tumbler will be announced.
For those unfamiliar with us, All body parts are complelty scratch built.

Are those "underparts" (for lack of a better term) sculpted? Looks like it to me but I thought you had a printed underside at one time. Looks really great.

Yep, those were sculpted. and yep, I had done a paper layout. Very important to get various details to be visable inbetween the ribs. You can't guess at that, you have to be certain. There will also be some metal stuff crammed in there too. The stuff you're refering we call the "techno babble" will be painted to look like scorched metal. This is how the copy was done that left TFX's shop. You never see it that way because the lights wash out that effect.

Looks AWESOME!  That 95 will be better than original. It actually looks streetable.
How about clearing up a couple of questions?
We know that the Bobs are building it but who is doing what?
Who is doing the sculping (which parts)?
Who is molding and pulling the pieces (fiberglass work)?
Who is doing all the frame and other metal work?
Who is doing the finish body work?
I'm guessing you both do a lot of it together but it seems that Bobby is the one always working in the photos. Oh and I thought that you guys lived several hours away from each other. Do you meet in the middle to work?
Oh, what about WB? This one still has a patent, right?
Thank you so much for the update. I just love seeing those in progress shots and it looks great. Oh how about posting some pictures of your scultures, like you do with the costumes?

 WOW. Those are some great shots. It only brings it into perspective when U know the car is scratch built. Beautiful craftsmanship Bob. Let me know when U can start mine

Dee if Bob was to do an 89 I think we would have every member of CLTC and BOTB turn out for that premiere.I know there will be a lot for the 95 but can you imagine a Dullam Causey 89.Now that is what I would call a dream car.

To answer some of Jacks questions:
who sculpted the car: Bob Dullam/Bob Causey
Who casted the sculptures: Bob Dullam
who ran the fiberglass: Bob Dullam
finish work on the body: Bob Causey, and from this point on, Bob C. is taking over the rest of the project, I shifted from doing my own 95' car to doing the tumbler, so I will not have a 95' car.
check the website for sculpt pics. I had them all up at
one time, but then I re-did the whole gallery section, so I may have
overlooked a bunch of shots. will try to get all the sculpt pics back up. There are quite a few. www.dullam-causey.com Most challenging piece sculpture-wise, and moldmaking wise I've done.
I was at one time doing an 89 car. Never got to the body, but had a rolling chassis (141" wheel base). Long story on why I switched gears. At this point, if I were to do another batmobile, I would be struggling with doing an existing car v.s. doing an original concept batmobile. Same thing with costumes. Done so much copying, that it makes you almost feel like at some point you HAVE to do something original. That's the one thing that I sorely lack, is original work. While the 89' batmobile is truely one, if not THE most popular car design of this century If I don't do an original work, I fear that someday I may regret never having tried anything original.

Thanks Bob, okay about a custom Dullam Batmobile.....THATS WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING..... You have way to much talent just to copy someone elses design. Heck you sould do a concept and pitch it to DC and WB. Of course let us see it first.
So did I read that correctly were you going to build yourself a 95 car? Do the Tumbler first or better yet get on an original design. Good luck and thanks for the answers. As always GREAT WORK.
Where's my autographs? Oh and those 89 Belts?
