I could try to print up some more shirts and give 'em away to the TOP TEN MOST INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE from the CLTC in the past (6 months or so?). They could be CLTC shirts, FIGHT CRIME IN STYLE SHIRTS, or maybe a new design? Blueprint shirts maybe? Should we start a voting thread for the TOP TEN?

We could start a voting thread for what a cool T shirt design would be. That'd be cool.

It would be interesting to know, in order, who has been here the longest. We know now how many posts everyone has made sans the pre-registration period. And I think we could easily pick out the most influential people on this site.

RE: 2 year anniversary coming soon

I would guess Tim Wylie was the very first person to view the site b/c I sought for permission to host the PDF blueprints from him on day one.
He then referred me to BatGod and Mark T. I emailed them both but only BatGod replied and he gave me crash course on all '89 batmobile related in 3 hour phone conversation

Then he gave me the partridge mobile picture but I never put that on the site b/c I thought people woulnd't be interested in those. Then I ran out of any new pics so I posted that and I got a lot of emails after that b/c people thought I had a replica of my own. I think that's when Jack first contacted me.

Then I created the form sometime in June of 2004 so I could announce to the world I don't have a replica

Donovan was the very first person to post when the form went online. Not sure who came before after that or what. I do remember Tim after he posted about his 1989batmobile.com. But even at the time it wasn't in its own thread. Kevin came on board b/c I sought for help in 1966 board and he was the only person to reply. Batgod did provide information behind the scene at the same period of time but did not post himself until last year.

Brett stirred up trouble a month or two before Batman Begins opened and finally prompted for registration a week before the movie opened.

Oh yeah, KeatonCar did email me bunch of photos when the site opened initially too.

So how did some of you find this place? It hardly showed up on google if you searched for 'batmobile'. It only shows up if you search by '1989 batmobile'.

Jack said Tim told him of the site. BatGod, Time Wylie, Kevin and few others I called them out. Not sure of the rest of you guys.

Then, by definition, Brett is one of the most influential people...

Timwylie I think it's a close one between you and me on that one.

As far as I can remember I did an '89 search and it pulled up this forum. I've been here ever since, predominantly under this name before registration was required.

RE: 2 year anniversary coming soon

I have been a lurker (I used to be "grey Ghost") from the start,( I think from my daily image search on google for "batmobile") but not having a keaton car, and my focus was on finishing my 66 I had fun watching the trivia slowly boil to the top, like it had been doing for the 66 since the 70's (B.I. before internet!)
I too remember thinking THIS site should be 1989batmobile.com! But first come, first server...
I had been reading this board every so often, but then Over on the 66 board Kevin and I chatted and when a flame war broke out, he kept inviting me to spend more time on this board. Somewhere in there Justin found me on the 66 and came over to my house, and so I started reading his board too, which as all good batboards do, lead back to this place and Eric's 66 board! After a rather big builder war over on the 66, Kevin called me at home and said "hey, there are a buch of great bat guys over here, and at BOTB why don't you SAY something?".
as I have no plans to suit up in rubber, I stuck with the coolest car in the world (Well, the 2nd coolest, after the 66...:)
and have been spending my internet time over here primarily since October of last year.
So do I make the bottom of the list for the "recap" of usable info?
That took me a few weeks of reading through EVERY post!
Would it help if I had one of "your" cars and posted build photos?
I mean, if there is a CLTC tee shirt in it for me, wait, I should be able to get a shirt out of Justin for a ride in my 66... that would be cheaper
Never mind!
(Vote for Pedro, or Chip...)
I vote for DAVE from Mattel!! "Where does he get all those marvelous toys? and photos? He works for Mattel!
Wait, if we have a top ten, aren't we all on it?
