Rear lights & seats.

What Ferrari rear lights do I need to buy? Are they a complete set or two different sets from different models?

Someone also must know which seats to go for (Honda, Recaro, Volvo etc?)
Any help on finding the correct seats (or a cheaper version to recover).

Sorry if this has been done to death, I just cant find the info by re-reading all of the posts (Hint- search facility!!!)

For the Ferrari lights log onto www.eurospares.co.uk They have replica and original Ferrari lights in stock. The replica lights are identical and cheaper.

I can find Ferrari lights no problem, just not sure of the exact match for the 89 (model of Ferrari please!).

Just a thought for all wannabe builders.

If you know which UK car parts you need, I'm willing to try to locate the part, quoting the price from the breakers/scrap yards and get the item shipped worldwide (you pay bottom dollar - no profit for my time).

Already looking for London Bus gas caps for Nate, but no joy so far.

RE: Rear lights & seats.

The only cheap version of the tail lights that I think work are some
bus tail lights that have most of the thickness of the ferrari lenses.
I figured with all of the ferrari kits out there for years, there would be some kicking around in the replicar market, but that isn't what I have found! The kit guys buy those retail $$$ to add authentic pieces to their replicas!
Any Ferarri replica guys out there know a work around? $400 for a set of tail lights is pretty pricey!

Mr A.

Do you have an 89 or are you just the biggest collector of 89 accessories that I've ever heard of?

If you don't have one... Here's what I need from your U.K. parts hunt:

I need the body shell from an original or a kit 75-81 Esprit. I'm making another sub car for a museum display.

I'll swap you an 89 kit straight for the complete body.

RE: Rear lights & seats.

I can't believe I'm sourcing parts for BATGOD!

I'm also sure that a certain Irish Ferrari enthusiast, would know where to find matching & cheaper parts for the lights (right Dee?).
I intend on following his advice (purely so the luck'o'the Irish rubs off) .

I've seen the Screen used Bond Esprit Subcar (fires the rocket at the helicopter) !!!! It was a bit of a mess, but it is going to be rebuilt. Also the 2 other ESPRITS used by Roger Moore in "the Spy who loved me" & "For your eyes only", and a hell of a lot more Bond vehicles & star cars @ COTS in Edinburgh! The 89 is still by far the best.

As for now, I am still trying to piece the jigsaw together. Paying for the stuff thats easy (if I ever get the money), but knowing what to get and where to get it....that like good whisky.....takes time.
