Never seen it in person but Tim just lives a few hours away from it and could go take some pictures well this weekend. Any real friend and Batmobile fan would..... |

RE: I can't believe this... yes, this is the cockpit that was used for interior shots on Batman Returns. this is at the "Cars of the Stars museum" in Gatlinburg Tenn. I saw this there a couple of summers ago. Again notice the curved windsheild, and also notice that there are TWO windsheilds with a small space inbetween. Betcha they did this on the original. I saw this when I was there. The lights were put on because they kept the room so dark, that way you could see the gauges and stuff. Right across from this was a Bob Butts 89' that looked pretty much thrown together. Quick and dirty gloss paint, thin plastic windsheild, and some sorta chicken wire behind the air scoops. Across from that was a badly painted re-cast of my sonar statue sold to them by Bob Butts. |
