RE: Grills
So it will just be molded in, not a separate piece like the gun doors, bat disc doors, "speakers?", etc.?
Personally, I think you should fit the grills in place, do all the bondo work to form the lip and a nice 1/8" gap around them and then remove the grill and mold them both separately.

RE: Grills
I am going to put in water boxes with drain lines to purge them. I need to find out what type of screen is underneath them.
Dave this one is for you to feild.
They will be molded into the body, if any one wants to they can cut them out and mold them back in if they want?

RE: Grills
Molded in is fine. They will probably still look real. I just thought you were going for quality. Are you molding in the gundoors and discdoors too?

RE: Grills
The gun doors and the disk doors are separate and will function. I don’t think any one will want the grills to rise up. Too much work for that.

RE: Grills
I never suggested that they should raise up. I just figured since you have everything you need already to mold them as separate parts that you could and that it would look better.
You already have them in place and marked out the gap. Now just pop them out and mold them separately. If you don't want to do it that way that's up to you but it would just be one more thing that makes the kit better.

RE: Grills
I used a Dremel Tool to trim out the edges on both grills. I still need to do some more blending and trimming.
