RE: Autographed Photos

I smell a trap.

Only way an autographed photo would amount to any worth is if the signer is either famous or has met an untimely demise.

Not just "nipples".... Angelina's nipples!!!! Before she went tattoo crazy.

Kinda running out of wall space in that office.

I always thought auto'ed 8x10's made for cool wall paper.

Not my idea though... copied it from Jay's office.

Jack... I had a spare Steven Segal and threw it in the box with your Batcycle parts, do you have a S.S. in your collection?

No C.O.A. but I guess you're gonna have to take my word for it.

RE: Autographed Photos

good old steve, I trained at his Dojo in Japan, well it is his wife's now , but still good memories . Altough Chuck Norris was the most impressive martial artist I have met, I should say down to earth.
great pics!

RE: Autographed Photos

Hey Bobby,

Steve trains some guys in New York and I went up there to train with him. But he's "Gone Spiritual" and makes everyone call him "Terton Rinpoche" these days.

I loved Chuck too. He's only about half my size and that kinda freaked me out when I first met him. I was stationed at Clark AB in the Phillipines and he was shooting one of the Missing in Action movies. We met at the base hospital because one of his extras got hurt... Me?... examination for... um... "Socialization overdose."

When were you at S.S.'s?... I trained with Stephen K. Hayes in Japan in the 80's. Loved the island, but the whole place seemed like a subtitled "Disney's Small World" to me.

Guys... the car wall is Jay's office, not mine. Jay's collection of 89 pics is only inferior to Silent Bob's. Anybody still talk to Joan? Bob has over a thousand unseen pics of the 89. Including the uncensored ones. That photo collection is the "Holy Grail" of 89 photos and movie cars in general.

Something that should be shared with the world and not just kept in boxes under the bench across from his desk.

Pics of Silent Bob are some of the most memorable in my collection. He once went to take me out to lunch in the 66 and it wouldn't start. So here he is, my first ride in a 66 and we have to jump it.

RE: Autographed Photos

Stephan hayes, Ninjitsu ! he is the man. Steve S. was very rude , he would not bow to anyone in the clase even off same ranking.
at the time I met chuck I was just a kid, and he took the time to sit with me and talk. He was doing the boat races here in Detroit.
I was always into ninjitsu , I spent almost 6 years in Japan and trained at allot of dojo's I had friends who are sumo wrestlers and they let me train with them , and it was beyond pain. I consider myself fairly strong and these guys put me thru hell, I remember crawling up the stairs in japan afterword.
( thats something my ego has a hard time admitting!)
were you staitoned in japan?
I worked for Chippendales , when the group left I stayed. great memories!
love the women there.

RE: Autographed Photos

"Stephan hayes, Ninjitsu ! he is the man."

You get no arguements from me there. Worst beating I ever got in my life was from Steve's wife Rumi at a training camp of 200 in Stockton, CA. When she was paired with me, my brain went; "It's a little girl! I can't hit her!"

A concept as similarly stupid as; "It's only a little white rabbit!"

Run Away!!! Run Away!!!

I got my a$$ kicked and remember the struggle just to stand back up.

But I trained in Kyoto in the 80's.

Isshinryu, something I first started when I was 4.

Didn't meet up with Steve and the Shadows of Iga until 82. Been a ring-wearing member ever since. (Check all my photos. You'll see the Batring and the Iga Shadows ring in every one, I rarely take them off.)

One of Hatsumi Sensei's students moved from Stockton to New Jersey and I try to get some training in as often as I can, but not as often as I'd like. I've even gotten some of the TunerGirlz to go with me.

Both Batman and Ninjutsu have been a HUGE influence on my life. I'm a Star Wars geek through and through and I've kinda added that into my martial arts practice.

And yes, I am ex military. And they did send me BACK to Japan and "The Rock" for a few years with the 18TFW.

And I worked for Chippendales, NY for a week in college because the money was insane. Seems we have a lot in common. We are also of the same opinion on S.S. and Chuck Norris.

As you understand Stephen Hayes, I stands to reason that you appreciate Batman Begins on an entirely different level.

(Getting this whole thread back on the BM topic)

I am wondering who it is in Chris Nolan's "Camp" that does as well.

Did you notice?

Even the "League of Shadows" training facility looks somewhat familiar. Every time I heard "League of Shadows" spoken with an Asian accent, "Iga Shadows" was on my brain.

One of the guys at Shadows of Iga, was from PA and he had made the same forearm armor with the sword catchers. And this was in 83! Seeing those on screen made me practically burst out laughing.

The similarities are boundless. Someone at production has to have trained with Steve.

If you REALLY want to get "Conspiracy Theorist"... Remember 2001?

The H.A.L. 9000 Computer?

If you move one letter of the alphabet you get I.B.M.

If you take Stephen K. Hayes S.K.H. and move one letter of the alphabet you get

R.L.G

(OK, it's a little bit of a stretch, but I find it funny myself)

What do you think?

(Figured out what was wrong with the first pic)
