91' Batman/Batman Returns Atari Games.

Take a look at this; I don't remember there ever were a full stand Batman Atari games being out in the 90'. I would love to get my hands on both of them. I'm a fan of the Atari system (even own an original Atari 2600 game console and several games).

Look at this on Ebay; this is one expensive used console. Even though it's hard to find, I will not bid or buy it now...I like the fancy black one on right top picture (it will show up one day). I rather use the money for my kit.

The model on EBAY does not look anything like the one on the top left picture. There all 3 Batman Atari design version made. I am thinking this is the other design version.

That is just an Atari Batman "Jamma" board put into a standard jamma cabinet. The stickers have been bought seperately, so has the marquee. NOT ORIGINAL AT ALL.

RE: 91' Batman/Batman Returns Atari Games.

I wanted one of these a while ago and tried to track one down, but I went to a company that sells them, and they refurbish the cabinets, so very few of each model lasts. They tear out the guts, stick in a new screen or game, new stickers on the sides and send it out to rent again.
They retain a lot of their value, just because the companies don't sell many to private citizens because they can make more in rentals with a refit than a sale. Only when it is very specific and they cant refit it, or it's guts are all old school and on their way out will they sell (aka dump) a game. So a good condition batman game that works is a hard thing to come by! "I just need new innards!"

That probably why the one on EBAY looks cheaply made. Is it just my imagination or does somebody else see a picture/reflection of a a PT Cruiser image (top area of the console)?

That is just a sloppy auction IMO. Yes, it does not match the game.

looks like the may have put the gut of the Batman game into another console. Maybe they used an emulator?
