Question : Life sized Batmobile replicas?

Hey guy!
I was just wondering since i saw a few comments in some post a few pages back. Who here is building a life-sized Tumbler and if thats the case, are there any pictures out here? I've seen the "Dullam-Caussey" one but im wondering if there's any other ones than that.

ps: it would be cool to see a replica of the camo one!

RE: Question : Life sized Batmobile replicas?

Kevin posted those tumbler from his friend. But then everything went haywire when trolls attacked I think. So far that's the only tumbler replica ever mentioned here. Batgod also has tumbler as list of batmobiles he built but no picture so far...

RE: Question : Life sized Batmobile replicas?

This was once a peaceful forum with no registration required but everyone behaved nicely and we had no trouble for a whole year.

Then basically this guy above started attacking these two and we tolerated for a while. Then one day, he posted barrage of posts attacking everyone on board and so this place was locked up for a while.

Check here for some of the trolling stuff that went on(Keep in mind some really bad stuff were deleted)

RE: Question : Life sized Batmobile replicas?

That guy, Brett Vasey.. or Fred... or Justin's friend, hell Rain Man for all I know, is just a true redneck genetic misfire. "Yeah.. I build 66 Batmobiles, def- def.. yeah... 66 Batmobiles." BIG WHOOP!!!!We were happy here in pre-password shangri-la, until that pisshole pinhead showed up using any alias his cretinous brain could muster.

Now I know both Justin and Kevin only from this site. Since the start, they have always been honest and available to both give opinion and help to all. This idiot was just a sad, lonely, attention starved jackass who for a reason I personally don't give a shit about, went after two of our own. In the process, upsetting everyone to the point of putting the site on hiatus.

At the end of the day he is gone, and that is a good thing.

RE: Question : Life sized Batmobile replicas?

I have a whole lot of RESPECT for the people here, wanting (and doing it!) to build REPLICA Batmobile's.

Not only are these people willing to share their experience, but in my opinion are genuine and honest. Every website is always going to attract "the angry, sad and misguided" . We can't change that, but we can try.

Hell, this is the REAL world!! If it was any different, we'd all have a whole lotta cars ijn our garage.

All I say is...
I WOULD LIKE TO OWN & DRIVE, AN 89 REPLICA.

Due to the people on this site, that may not be just a dream.

RESPECT to you all.

and THANKS

Mr A

RE: Question : Life sized Batmobile replicas?

I think we should get back on topic... Im really curious to see those pictures of the Tumbler. There's way to many pictures of the 89 Batmobile and everyone pretty much has done or seen a bunch of replicas. The Tumbler on the other hand i have seen none and seems like a more complex car. Id really like to see someone pull off building a replica. Look , i know most you guys are 89 batmobile fans and i respect that, im not trying to burst your bubble but i just find the Tumbler so much more appealing and more true to the term "war on crime". I find that the Keaton car is quite vulnerable, let's face it, its not stealthy and tank like as the Tumbler which seems to be a tougher car (structure wise) its like the toughness of a tank meets 4x4 agility. I was always in favor of the animated batmobile from B:TAS , thats my ultimate batmobile. But for batman i find of all the movie cars, the Tumbler suits him best. Now i hope i wont get any hate reply's because this seems like a civilised place and an open for opinion type forum. Dont prove me wrong. 99% here like the 89 car, i respect that, but i just like to be the 1% for the other car. Id like to talk more about this, but maybe in a different more appropriate topic. Well looking forward to hear your opinions on these two cars, comparatively specialy.

And looking forward to hopefully see some pictures!

RE: Question : Life sized Batmobile replicas?

Kevin,

PM me with an email addy. I'll send you the file that has the article in it.

Speaking of "Life sized Batmobile replicas"

(Gotta stay "on topic" right?)

Justin,

Here's the pic of your door and trunk.
I know I usually email pics of your stuff to you, but I didn't have any new Bat pics to share tonight. (Another 5 hour TG dinner after work)

So I'm handing up your "in progress" pics to the Bat guys tonight.

I've had a Bat phone stuck in the mold for about 6 months. So I have to get it out before I can use it again to make the opposite side of your phone and send your stuff out to you.

Start clearing some space on your wall next to your hood for the door and trunk. (Maybe a small shelf for the car phone?)

Enjoy,

"Where does he get those wonderful toys?"
He MAKES them you idiot!
