Batmobile in the Ozarks

Any Batmobile owners in the Ozarks? I know at one time there was a Batmobile on display in one of the shows in Branson. That was a few years ago.

I also saw a Batmobile on a trailer going somewhere last summer pass through here. It was being pulled behind a dump truck.

RE: Batmobile in the Ozarks

Not to my knowledge.

That car was the number 3 and it was eventually sold to the Imperial Palace in Vegas.

The owner used to own the Burkett's Movie Memorabilia Museum. He's been trying to buy another Batmobile for quite some time now, but is more into trades then cash. I'm sure he'll talk me out of one eventually. Last week, he offered up an NSX for a roller.

When he had the Batcycle, he had it on display at the movie theatre on the strip. He also keeps some of his movie cars at the "Legends" Museum and at some of the businesses owned by his friends. So visit... and keep your eyes open, you never know what you'll find.

But... if there ever was a time to stop by Branson for a visit, it's now...

There is a movie car auction on the 16th and a dozen or so movie cars in outside storage behind the Hollywood Wax Museum. Shaggin Wagon, Sanford and Son Truck, General Lee, Stealth Bomber from Broken Arrow. The School of Rock van will be there as well if I can squeeze in a quick trip this week.

Good to know. Might have to check out the auction, sounds very interesting.
