Get the latest codec
Use G-Spot program to see what codec you need.

RE: Hawkone

I get the same thing with RealPlayer. I was able to open it with VideoStudio although it shows it is only 6 seconds. Is that correct? I saved it as an mpg and sent it to DH.

Looks cool. What is it?

RE: Hawkone

It's a roughed out mold of the 89 Tim. Did not have time to get into details with it yet, that was made initially with a plaster of paris mold like the late Ed Roth use to do then I made a fiberglass mold then popped this out and bingo, just a quickie

RE: Hawkone

Okay, so this is a fiberglass piece that you made with a plaster mold. Very nice for a quickie. I see you have done some touch-up work to it too, right? Is that the 1:25 AMT/Ertl?

RE: Hawkone

Yes that was sculpted from a 1:25 scale AMT model to a plaster block.and its is slightly larger about two and a half inches in length and about a half to an inch wider, and its also heavy, because I mixed strands and some bondo dust with the resin.

RE: Hawkone

The mold wasn't taken directly from the model? Are you saying you sculpted this from a block of plaster? Wow, I'm impressed.

Do you have any photos?

RE: Hawkone

Comes from building AMT, JoHan , Monogram, and some japanese models waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when I was younger, and entering model shows in NJ, I was into suicide doors , chopped roofs , making your own chassis of of the mold tree the models come on, wiring the engines with coat thread dipped in wax. It was fun then and still is when I have the time to do it.

This forum delves into all sorts of fabrication techniques so it wouldn't be out of place here.
