Batmobile Build

Ok guy's,as alot of you are builders and some wanta be's,I am planning a batmobile build.I have been doing body work and fabrication for a while and have decided to give this a try.I was going to build the forever car first but think the Keaton car would be better.I do a few special effects also (small) and think this is going to be a big project. What I am asking first is instead of building the chassis from ground up what is a good car to start from? I know the basic engine size, but would like to start with a chassis that is available to me and the then beef it up and go from there.Any help and pictures would be great.I try to get to some of the post here but you have to post alot to get to see something so I guess I will just chop away at it.Thanks in advance and any help would be great.

Welcome nubie. There's an abundance of information on past threads that are available to all newcomers. It's just a matter of searching through all the past posts. Happy reading and best of luck with the build.

Yes, your best bet is to start reading from the beginning. MOST threads are not restricted and still come with an abundance of information. As for a starting point - consider a '94 Chevy Caprice Classic. Comes with a standard LT1 engine, and it only needs to be lengthened a little bit.
